TARRED AND FEATHERED.
LONDON, Bth June. The Cambridge police at daybreak found a naval sub-lieutenant, aged 19, nude, tarred, and feathered, and.chained by the neck to a tree in the main.street. Leaflets distributed throughout the town pointed out that an army officer who was recently married objected to the naval man's relations with his wife. A na-va) inquiry has been ordered. -
