GRAND LODGE ANNUAL UNION. (BY TELEGRAPH.—PRBBB ASSOCIATION.) INVERCABGILL, 18th March. The Independent Order of OdSfellows Grand Lodge annual unioA opened today. Representatives "were present from all parts of the Dominion. The balance-sheets and reports disclosed a strong conditions of affairs. During the war period the consolidated funds increased by £20,000. The epidemic funeral claims total £2000, and the war funeral claims £7500. All the payments were made without a levy on members or drawing1 on the benefit funds. The session strongly protested against the withdrawal of railway concessions from friendly society conferences, especially as it was understood that theatrical companies and others still could obtain concessions.
