The annual Catholic picnic of the- combined city parishes will be held at Seatoun Park on Boxing Day A good programme of sports and dancing has been arranged, and attractive side-shows will help to make/the proceedings interesting. A special tram service has been arranged,. for. which, special picnic tickets have .been issued. The ticket entitles the holder to travel from any part of the city lines by any car and break the journey for the purpose of rejoining a Searoun car. It also provides for ;the return journey and admission to the grounds. Another attraction is the baby show The refreshment stall will be managed by a committee of. ladies under the direction of Mrs. M. Gleeson. Given fine weather, a delightful day's outing should be assured.
