BRITISH AND FOREIGN SAILORS' SOCIETY
Another enjoyable evening under the auspices of the British and Foreign Sailors' Society took place on Saturday night, the entertainment being arranged by a party of ladies and.gentlemen from the Berhampore Baptist Church. The usual parlour games and choruses were "indulged hi, and a light supper was provided. The president of the society reported as to the progress being made with the arrangements for the sailors' entertainment during the coming festive week, and an enjoyable time is being looked forward to by the seafaring men.
