AERIAL CO-OPERATION
BOMB-DROPPING ON THE ENEMY'S REAR
■•'... . ' LONPON, 13th September. The Air Ministry reports : In conjunction with the American attack on the night of 12th September we heavily bombed the railways at Metz-Sablons and Courcelles, with good results. We machine-gunned the Metz station searchlights and bombed Metz-Sablons, and other railway junctions and transport on 13th September, dropping 7^ tons of bombs, with good results.
LONDON,. 14th September. Ihe Air Ministry : There has been- extensive bombing of railways and other objectives in conjunction with the American attack. Two hostile machines were brought down.
