The announcement made in this issue that Signor Cappelli, the famous Italian tenor, will give three concerts in the ! During i the recent Dominion tour of the Gonj salez Grand Opera Company Cappelli , was principal tenor, and he was the re- \ cipient of eulogistic press notices every- ! where. His remarkably fine singing on j that tour marked him" as an artist *of i exceptional merit. Although quite n | young man, Cappelli has played' all the j principal roles in grand opera. His prn--1 gramme will consist of masterpieces from the works of Verdi. Donizetti. Bizet, Puccini, Mascagni. and other celebrated ! composers. Supporting Cappelli are j 6evera! distinguished artists, including ! John Amadio, flautist; Lucien Cesarino, | bass; Veronica Bedford, pianist; and '■ Harold Whittle, accompanist.
