YON HOETZENDORFF DISMISSED

LONDON, 17th July. An official message from Vienna states that the Emperor Charles has dismissed Field-Marshal Conrad yon Hoetzendorff, Chief of the General Staff.
[A message from London on sth July stated:— The Daily Telegraph's Milan correspondent says the appointment ■ of General yon Below as Commander of the Austrian armies has caused discontent in Austria. Yon Ludendorff made no secret of his opinion that Field-Marshal Conrad yon Hoetzendorff, General Horeovich, and General yon Arz were incapable, and the Austrian Emperor was compelled' to sign the decree displacing them.] i
