SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION

[ The third pf a series of district conferences of Sunday* school teachers was held in the Terrace Congregational Schoolroom last evening. The Rev. J. Reed Glasson was in the chair, and there was a very good attendance of the teachers of Thorndon. Miss Sinclair gave an address on "The difference between a child's mind and an adult's." After the address Miss Sinclair answered questions, and was able to give many hints .to- those who wished to get al--better understanding of what a child's mind was like. Mr. Meadowcroft. speaking during the supper adjournment, said that that was the first time in twenty-six years that the Sunday School Union had held a meeting at that end of the city; he hoped that they would j be held more • frequently in the future. Miss Sinclair was given a hearty vote of thanks for her yaluable address; The next meeting is to be held at Petone, when Mr. George Tiller will speak on "How to tell a story."
