COUNTER-REVOLUTION SUPPRESSED

LONDON, 12th July. Russian news from Bolshevik sources insists that there has been a complete gunpression of the counter-revolution in various parts of the country. The Czecho-Slovaks have been heavily defeated in the Samara region, and forced to cross the Volga north-westward of .\toscow. Other Czecho-Slovak troops at Tcheshardrimsk, in Eastern Siberia, were also compelled to retroat. Messages indicate'the widespread nature of the revolt. The Bolshevik authorities state that the situation is now secure, aud that they ara preparing a fresh counteroffensive.
STOCKHOLM, 12th July. The Bolshevik Government alleges that General Muravieff, Commander-in-Chief of the Czecho-Slovak Army. has committed suicide; '
