LODGE MEETINGS.
m Court Sir George Grey, 3118,. A.0.F., held its fortnightly meeting' at the Foresters' Hall, Itambton-quay, this week, C.R. Bro. A. S. Moulynox pre- j siding. The half-yearly balance-sheet showed an increase in funds for the quarter. The newly-elected officers were installed, and were assisted by P.C.R. Bro. G. Key. A presentation, to Bro. A. S. Moulynox, P.C.R., was held over till the 25th July (a pound night). As the P*ed Cross is doing such valuable work in j France and elsewhere, and as the Court has had twenty-six members at the front (unfortunately, three members so far have lost their lives), £2 was voted to the Red Cross Copper Trail Fund, and a collection was taken up in the room for the same object. The Arch Druid, Bro. N. J. Edmonds, presided over a large meeting of the Excelsior Lodge, when a considerable amount of business was dealt with. Tho Bards' reports showed that a large number of members were on the sick list. Official visits were paid by the Pride of Brooklyn, Pacific, and Holly Lodges, and tho District President, Bro. W. H. Crank, also attended. Tho auditors' report and balance-sheet were distributed, and held over till next lodge meeting. Bro. S. Nbrthcott, Past Arch Druid, ontertainod the lodge and visiting brethren at supper, on the "occasion of his passing through the chairs. An enjoyable eveii-i ing was spent. Songs were given by j Bros. F. Kuch, J. B. Gaunllett, H. Austin, and others, while a good orchestra, under Bro. W. M'Laughlin, supplied excellent- music. The arrangements ' were carried out by A.D.B. Bro. A. Tyson.
