PRETORIA, 11th July.
General Botha, in accordance with his promise, met a representative gathering of natives, who voiced their grievances. These were largely economic, and related to the cost of living, and compensation for death and disablement.
General Botha expressed his intention of fully considering the representations, on receipt of a report from a Commissioner appointed to investigate the grievances.
