UNSTABLE UKRAINE TREATY

REMARKABLE COMMENT IN THE

VORWAERTS.

(Received February 21, 9 a.m.)

LONDON, 20th February. The Daily Chronicle's Amsterdam correspondent states that the signing of the Ukrainian peace is already the subject of a film scene, and is being shown in the German cinema theatres.

The Vorwaerts declares that the treaty is a mere scrap of paper, and can only be made effective when it is signed again with German blood. The separation of North Russia from the Ukraine is merely momentary, and they cannot be kept separate by foreign bayonets.
