FOUR NOMINATIONS
The closing hour for the receipt of nominations for the vacancy for the Wellington North seat in the House of Representatives was noon to-day. The polling ta,kes place on Thursday, 28th inst. The nominations are as follows :—
Alfred de Bathe Brandon.—Nominated by Ernest Frederick Hadfield,. barrister and solicitor; Emma Miles; Patrick Francis M'Evedy, M.D.; Alice Wilber foss; and Robert Ernest Sinclair,' merchant.
Henry Edmund Holland.—Nominated by Andrew Parlane, union secretary; Sarah Ellen O. Snow; George Ward, storeman;' and Catherine Whiteford.
John Pearce Luke.—Nominated by Jessie Matilda Moorhouse; Sara Darling; William Malp de Rome Barclay; William Isaac Glark; and Henry Ferdinand Upham.
Angus James Neville Poison.— Nominated by J. D. Martin M'lntyre, estate agent, Lambton-quay; and C. V. K. Goulter, barrister and solicitor, Kelburn.
Ths returning officer notifies that the polling places will be :.The Gymnasium, St. Paul's Schoolroom, Sydney-street (principal); St. Paul's Schoolroom, Tina-kori-road ; The Kiosk, Kelburn ; Bethune and Co.'s auction mart, Brandon-street; the Town Hall; the Wesleyan Schoolroom, Molesworth-street; Primitive Methodist Schoolroom, Northland; and the residence of Mr. H. A. C. Golding, Kent Villa, Main-road, Wadestown.
