; .' BERNE, 17th February. A large quantity of-bombs and grenades and a million, copies of a manifesto were found in a, cellar in Zurich. The premises had. been occupied by Gino Andrei, an Italian, who was incarcerated several months ago as a spy. The bombs and manifesto were intended for distribution among the workers in Italy to rouse a revolution. The manifesto accuses Britain- of causing and continuing the war. Andrei was the leader of a powerful gang of spies organised by the Central Powers. He was well supplied with money. The discovery has led to the arrest of many of Andrei's confederates. One, Donati, was recently arrested in Italy and shot.
