CHRISTCHUROH, This Day. In various parts of the. South Island notices have been posted stating that Maoris in the First Division must register for enrolment. Mr. H. Parata, candidate for the Southern Mapri seat, telegraphed to the Minister for Defence, receiving a reply fcljat it ia not likely that there will be any ballot 1 of South. Island Maoris, who have enlisted well voluntarily.
