MR. W. G. SPENCE'S WIN.

As announced by cable, the Darwin seat in tho Australian Federal House wa-s won by Mr. \V. G. Spcnce. Mr. King O'Malley lost this eeat at the general election, and then the successful candidate, Mr. Howroyd, died. Mr. Spence was formerly a Labour Minister and president of tlxs A.W.U., from which he waa expelled after lifelong membership for advocacy of conscription.
