WELLINGTON AIRMAN MISSING

A cable message received yesterday from the War Office reports that 2nd Lieut. Trevor White, R.F.C., of Wellington, has been missing since 27th July. The missing airman has been on duty for three years all but a few days, having enlisted on the Bth of August, 1914, with the New Zealand Forces. He went to Samoa with the first batch, and on returning left with the sth Pieinforcements, serving at Gallipoli and on the Continent until last February, when he received his commission in the Royal Flying Corps and proceeded to England. Lieut. White has the honour of holding the first German flag captured during the war, viz., the one which was hauled down from the flagstaff at Samoa,
