Teece (general manager and actuary), who is retiring. He will continue as consulting actuary.. The annual report was adopted, and ■.•'*" the directors were re-elected.
The chairman, owing to the inability of Lieutenant-Colonel Roberts, the Now Zealand representative, to attend, on account of military duties, said that the New Zealand branoh had had a most successful year. The new business was' only slightly behind last year's record^ The society had subscribed £3,650,000 to the war loans in London, Australia, and New Zealand. '
