LONDON, 13th February. Last year the need for hotel and club accommodation for New Zealand officers in London became so marked that towards Christmas a nicely=appointed house was obtained in Granville-place, near the Marble Arch.-This building has to date been well patronised by New Zealand officers, whose military duties call them to London

A more ambitious scheme is now in hand, and negotiations are proceeding for the taking over by tha General Officer commanding the London District of the Royal Automobile Club premises for the purposes of the naw club for oversea officers. / Sir Francis .Lloyd has appointed an advisory committee, consisting of Sir Ernest Hatch, Bart, Captain the Hon. Sir Charles FitzWilliam, X.C.V.0., and Lord Blyth, to assist him in the management of the new club, which ia intended primarily for officers from overseas. Arrangements are being made by Sir Francis Lloyd for the provision of a number of beds in the principal London hotels, in addition to those provided in the Royal Automobils Club building. The new club will come into existence on lsb March, when an enquiry office will be established in the Royal Automobile Club building. Until that date the R.A.C. will continue to be open to all oversea ofHeera os honorary members, as well as to its own members.
