LONDON, 25th April. Polling for the Federal elections begins at Salisbury Plain about the Ist or 2nd May. Voting on the Queensland referendum for the abolition of the Legislative Council will not be taken with tho Federal poll, although the Commonwealth military . authorities are willing to help .the Queensland authorities as far as their powera permit.
