MIDSHIPMAN HERO
MR. GYLES IN HOSPITAL.
(Received April 27, 3 p.m.) LONDON, 26th April. Midshipman Gyles, of the flotilla leader Broke, whose heroism iu'described in today's- cablegrams, is the hero of the day. He has been sent to hospital. .He is nineteen years of age, and was apprenticed in the White Star training ship Mersey. ' Ho took part in the naval operations and the Australian landing at Gallipoli,' where he was twice wounded.
