A.P.U. CONFERENCE

The conference of the Agricultural and Pastoral Workers' Union (A.P.U.) was continued to-day, Mr. A. J. King (president) in the chair. Rates of pay and conditions were discussed at length. It was decided to meet the 6heep owners towards the end of next month. ' The ballot of members on the question of linking up with the Australian Workers' Union (A.W.U.) cannot be taken for soveral weeks yet, when shearing operations will be in full swing.
