NOT TO BE NEGLECTED IN PEACE TIME. (Received April 27, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, 26th April. In the House of Commons, Mr. J. L. Baird, Parliamentary Secretary to the Air Board, in introducing the Aviation Estimates, said that filter the war there would be a vast number o£ machines and of trained pilots. The industry had been built up for war purposes, but it could not be neglected in peace time. A committee had been established to consider the question, with Lord Northcliffe as chairman, and containing representatives of the two aviation services, the Board of Trade, the Post Office, the Colonial^Office, the Customs, the Treasury, and the Dominions.
