NEW YORK, 25th April

Advices from London state that the, captain of the armed American steamer Mongolia says that on the 19th instant he fired on a submarine which wa-s preparing to' attack the Mongolia at 1000 yards. The periscope was hit and the submarine was undoubtedly,sunk.
