The monthly bajanc'e-sheet of , the Trentham Camp Canteen' Fund shows that £808 has been distributed to various units of the. 25th Reinforcements, leaving £1617 3a'Bd, which has been placed to the credit'of. the ,2Gth, 27th, and 28th Reinforcement's.

The cup presented by Mr. Binns, camp jeweller, for the' best shot' in the 25th Reinforcements- has been, won by. Pte. J. Walker, of J Company,, with a" score of 63 points. Other-scores were: 2nd Lieut. Norris, E. 1' Company, 58 points; Pte. . Hendry, D Company, 57 points; 2nd ■ Licuf. Harper, C Company, 54 points; .2nd Lieut. Henderson, H Company, -53 points; Sergt. W. P. Levy, A Company, 51- points; Pte. Verry, F Company,"' 51. points; SeTgt. W P. Dunne, B Company, 38 points. The following temporary appointments, of n.c.o.'s have been approved by the Commandant of Trentham Camp (Colonel H. R. Potter) :— 25th Reinforcements. C Company: To be sergeant, Cpl. H. J. Brown. D Company: To be sergeants: L.Sergts. D. M'Dougall and R. M. Sinclair; to be corporals, L.-Qpls. A. Smith and J. Barnes. Headquarters Staff. Q.M. Stores: To be corporals, Pfces. H. Parkinson, L. C. FenrL T. S. Robertson, E. L. Watkins, W. Gilmore, J. Coyle, J. W. Goodmanson i <3. C. Steven, and H.
