Obituary.—Hon. Henry Carey Dangar, a member of the Legislative Council and a ptominent pastoialist and horsebreeder.
[The Hon. H. C. Dangar was a mem-ber-tjf the Legislative Council from 1883. He^'Was the best known of the Dangar family, who were among the early pastbralists of New South Wales. He was bom at Port Stephen, New South Wales, in 1830, and was the second son of Henry Dangar, who settled in the colony in 1822. He wa3 educated at Sydney College and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he took his M.A. Entering at the Middle Temple he was called to the Bar in 1854. He was elected M.L.A. • for West Sydney in 1874 and 1877, .and for East Sydney in •1880. He was largely identified with (pastoral and banking interests:]
