At Hillside Workshops to-day a mass 1 meeting of mon was held as a result ofl tho Railway Department not releasing returned men to tako part in tho Anzao: celebrations. The men had to ask for"' leave, and this was granted, but on th& - understanding that pay would be docked' for tho time lost. Tho meeting resolved that subscriptions should bo taken up to • make ui> tho lost pay. It r.lso passed a. vote of censure on the Government for nob; granting at least two hours' leave to enable f the men to pay respect to tLo raomory of: 1 those who had sacrificed their lives at Gal- 1 lipoli. . . .
