PRELATES IN BELGIUM SENT TO PRISON
Monsignor Louis Legraive, vicar-gen-eral to Cardinal Mereier, Primate of Belgium, has bfen sentenced to nine months' imprisonment and deported to Germany for sheltering a, discharged French soidier for one night, according to a Central News despatch from Amsterdam to London on 24th March.- This information is confirmed by a. Renter despatch from Amsterdam, whicSi adds that Canon Allaer, spiritual director of the great seminary of Malines, of which Monsignor Legnuvo was president, has been sentenced to eight months' imprisonment in Germany for giving shelter to another discharged French soldier. ■
