IS GERMANY CLIMBING DOWN?
AN INSPIRED ARTICLE ON PEACE PROPOSALS
(Received April-25, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 25th April. The Daily 'Chronicle's correspondent at Amsterdam states thaT the Vorwfterts, in an article, insists that Germany must strive towards a lasting peace by abandoning her ideas of annexations and indemnities. It is noteworthy that Herr yon Bethmann-TTollweg often uses, the Vorwaerts to forward his ideas; therefore, it is posgiule that this article indicates, if vaguely, that Germany is inclined to climb down further.
