GERMAN AGENTS AT WORK
CAUSING DISCONTENT IN THE v ARMY. (Received April 26, 11.30 a.m.) ■
NEW YO2tK, 25th April. The New York World's correspondent at Petrograd states that a mob, led by a pro-German Socialist, who said that America was an enemy to Socialism, threatened the American Embassy. Soldiers dispersed the crowd. German agents circulated a report among the Russian soldiers that land was being distributed, causing 3, number to leave the front. Consequently M. Gutohkoff, War Minister, issued a denial, Teassuring the soldiers.
