TRAMWAY ACCIDENT »' Shortly before 9 o'clock this morning, Mr. L. i\ Frnscr, a well-known accountant, residing Vn Webb-etreet, was knocked down by car "So. ' 112 (Mototman Reeves), outside the Bank of New Zealand. Mr. Fraser, who is hard of hearing, was crossing the street, and apparently was not' aware of the approach of the car until it was almost on top of 1 him. He endeavoured to step back, but was too late. Jifotorman Reeves pulled the car up immediately, and the injured man was carried into the bank, ' where an examination by Dr. Elliotc showed that ho ' had suffered no severe injuries but was shaken and bruised.
