AUCKLAND, This Day. In the " go-slow " cases against miners to-day, after conference between counsel, Mr. Singer, representing Wfe accused, asked: for an adjournment- to, enable them to discuss a certain matter with his clients.

Mr. Meredith, counsel for th© Crown, said he had no objection. He stated that he understood the .result would probably be a shortening of the proceedings. The Court adjourned till to-morrow.
