MELBOURNE, 24th April. High prices.were .paid for thoroughbreds to-day. ' The imported mare ISady Victoria fetched 1950 guineas, and tho mare Prunille (imp.), 2600 guineas. AMacadam colt fetched 1700 guineas. Stageland ran up tc*9oo guineas. Mr. W. (x. Stead paid 400 guineas fop Cerintha.
