PREVENTION OF CRUELTY
The fortnightly meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was held last evening. Mr. F. Meadowcroft presided. The inspector reported- a number of cases of alleged cruelty which had come under his notice during the past three weeks. The following subscriptions ■ were acknowledged :—Mr. Justice Cooper, Mr. C.
