The first meeting of the Wellington Philosophical Society for this session takes place at the Dominion Museum at 8 o'clock this evening. The business will include papers:—(l)'"On Fly and Mosquito Larvicides," by Professor Kirk^ and (2) "On Perpetual Calendars," by Professor Sommerville.
