MEMORIAL TO CAPTAIN SCOTT
(RT TEIBGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
CHRISTCHURCH, 9th February. A marble statue of Captain ■ Scott, erected by the people of dhristchurch, as a memorial to the Antarctic explorer, was unveiled this afternoon : by the Governor in tho presence of a huge assemblage. The statue, which cost £1000, is the work of Lady Scott.
