INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES

CHIUSTCHUROH, 12th October. Representatives of the Christchurcli Brush and Broom Trade Employees' Union havo met representatives of" the employers and discussed wages and conditions of labour, .but as an agreement was not arrived at the union is talcing steos to file an industrial dispute. This is the first dispute in, this particular trade that lias arisen, and the ChrJEtehurch Union is the first to be organised. A union exists in Dunedin, ;and one is in process of formation in Auckland.
