A: French official communique states : We added another hundred yards to Sunday's gain eastward of Fleury. The enemy made a powerful attack on our positions in Chenois Wood, and carried a small fort on tlie Vanx-road and trenches to the westward. A brilliant counter-attack enabled us to reoccupy the whole of the ground. Upwards of 500 unwounded prisoners were taken in the Fleury district during Sunday and Monday.
