STARVATION THREATENS GREECE
GRAIN SUPPLIES ALMOST EXHAUSTED

_ ' LONDON, 20th June. Mr. W. Jeffries, the Daily Mail's correspondent .at Athens, says that starvation threatens Greece. Householders are filling their cellars with, flour and groceries. Experts estimate that the grain supplies in Athens will last until Friday. It is possible they will last another week, allowing for certain stores of flour containing, 28 per cent. bran. After this is consumed there will be nothing left.
