EMPRESS THEATRE.

The superbly-mounted attraction, "The Devil's Toy," continues to attract large audiences at the Empress Theatre. It is an absorbing tale, with a lovely scenic background, aided by sensational effects. The story begins at a studio, where two poor but ambitious students are, as usual, hard at work. Miss Adele Blood, the exponent of the leading part, has a striking personality,' to which is added general grace of figure. She gives an exceptionally able and interesting study of a girl who loves with the intensity of those who possess the true artistic temperament. The costuming of "The Devil's Toy" is an outstanding feature.
