SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
Mrs. Phil. Nathan and party provided an excellent concert programme at the Sailors' Friend Society last night. During the evening competitions were held, and a short address on temperance was delivered by the Missioner. Light refreshments, provided by the hostess, were handed round, and the evening concluded with a hearty vote of thanks to the entertainers. The following contributed items:—Mrs. Nathan, Slisses Jones and Shirtcliffe, Messrs. Jenning, Battsn, Bavke (Whakarua), Drury, Biddie, and Kean (Bemuera).
