J. YOUNG AND CO. AT THE SHOW.

[Published m arrangejient.]

The farmers' three best implements are on exhibition a.t the National 'Dairy Show. Messrs. J. Young and Co., of Wanganui, who are well known in the machinery world, have just arrived on the scene, and those visiting the Show on Thursday and Friday are requested to, call and see' the Storrie turmp and mangold thinner, the Storrie turnip and root crop ridger, and the Storrie twohorse hoe. In regard to the ridger, this' machine obtained "the Highest award given an agricultural implement. .A crop of turnips sown by this ridger yielded 62 tons to the acre, the greatest crop realised in. the 1915 season. This implement is regarded all over New Zealand as ..the greatest labour-saving machine ever introduced to thfc fanning community. In these days of scarcity of labour, as well as the increased cost of production on the farm, the growth of weeds, aiid other causes, has brought forth the demand for a machine capabla of producing cheaply and effectively root and other crops, and the Storrie ridger fills, the bill. The Storrie horse hoe is another popular machine. As user 6 say, it is the finest and most useful tool on the farm, .• and farmers who have not yet invested in one should do so at the present show.
