DONATIONS TO PATRIOTIC FUNDS
In the House of Representatives yesterday the Prime Minister read out the following list of contributions that he had received to the British Sailors' Dependents Fund: J. H. Coleman (Napier) £1000, Mr. and Mrs. Eric L. Biddiford (Wellington) £500, Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, Ltd. (Wellington) £500, Westland Patriotic Fund* £500, Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company, Ltd. (Wellington) £300, Gore Sailors' Dependents Relief Fund £225, the Bulls, Sanson, Carnarvon, Ohakea., and Lower Rangitikei War Relief Fund £200, Hawera Citizens (second instalment) £100, the British. Empire Trading Company, Ltd. (Wellington) £50, Nireaha Co-opera-tive Dairy Company (Eketahuna) £20, Mrs. E. Cattell (Wellington) £10, Mis 3 C. Kirkcaldie £10, Raetibi Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., £10; — total, £3425. Mr. Massey also announced that the New Zealand Shipping Company had donated £1000 to the Wounded Soldiers Fund. ■
