DONATIONS TO PATRIOTIC FUNDS

In the House of Representatives yesterday the Prime Minister read out the following list of contributions that he had received to the British Sailors' Dependents Fund: J. H. Empire Trading Company, Ltd. (Wellington) £50, Nireaha Co-opera-tive Dairy Company (Eketahuna) £20, Mrs. E. Cattell (Wellington) £10, Mis 3 C. Kirkcaldie £10, Raetibi Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., £10; — total, £3425. Mr. Massey also announced that the New Zealand Shipping Company had donated £1000 to the Wounded Soldiers Fund. ■
