Mrs. E. M. DEVONSHIRE, Otaki Railway.
The residents in the vicinity of the Otaki Railway are particularly fortunate in having in their midst a nicely appointed stationery, news agency, milinery, drapery, and fancy goods shop, where supplies can be had at city prices. Mr. and Mrs. Devonshire have resided in the district for upwards of 15 years, and prior to coming to Otaki were in business in Dannevirke, and in the early days, before the railway was constructed through the 40-mile bush, Mr. Devonshire conducted; a large A livery stable business in. Pahlatua. He is one of the best known men in the North Island. Since their advent' to Otaki, Mr. and Mrs. Devonshire suffered a severe loss through a disastrous fire, but have now become , reestablished, and, in a fine new coiner shop with a complete' .fresh- stock, deserve, and are receiving, the assistance and support of a gdod number of worthy customers, and in return give good value for money spent at their establishment. '
