Chambers, £2; E. Anderson, £5; G. Magnus, £5 ss. The sum of £27 collected .by the sale of flowers at Rout's Buildings by Misses Cooper and Moss was also put in the collecting boxes.
The Navy League has sent letters of thanks to the president of the Wellington Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, the Lady Superintendent of the Wellington South Nursing Division, the Victoria League, and the Patriotic Society for valuable assistance given during the days set apart for street collections.
