PARIS, 31st March. A French communique says: Our special guns brought down an aeroplane westward of Nonvion (south-west of Laon). The occupants wcro killed. Another Germain aeroplane was brought down in the German lines in the Champagne, and five similarly in the Verdun district-. The Germans eastward of the Meuse violently attacked the positions at the approaches to Fort Douaumont., accompanied with discharges of liquid flame, and were completely; repalsed. A second attack met with the came result, costing the enemy appreciable losses
