ESPIONAGE IN SALONIKA
TOWN TO BE A CENTRE FOR
RIOTING
AN ARSENAL IN A CELLAR.
(Received January 6, 8.50 a.m.) SALONIKA, sth January. Documents seized at the Consulates show a plot to transform Salonika into a centre for rioting with organised crime against the Allies. A complete arsenal was discovered in the cellar of the Austrian Consulate. The Consuls spent great sums to foster espionage.
