On the second day of the West Australian Jockey Club's Meeting the principal events resulted as follows:— Railway Stakes, of 1000 soys; one mile and a-quarter.—Simple Maid, 7.12. 1; Master Test, 8.3, 2; Fantasie, 6.7, 3. There were thirteen starters. Won by a head. Time, 2min 8 3-ssec. All-Aged Stakes.—Hinh Rock, I; Jol ly Beggar, 2; Lucky Begear, 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 26 4-ssec.
