The weather is fine for the second day, of the Hawkes Bay Jockey Club Meeting to-day, and the attendance was good. Results: —
Aotea Jumpers' Flat, one mile and aquarter.—Parawanui, 9.11, 1 ; Sensitive, 9.2, _; Hikahakehe, 10.2, .3. All started. Won by six lengths. Time, 2min 12sec.
Grandstand Handicap, six furlongs.— Mandoline, 8.3, 1; Asterias, 8.8, 2; Pearlfprm, 8.4, 3. All started. Won by four lengths. Time, lmin 15sec.
Scurry Hack, five furlongs.—Watchful, 7.10, 1; Ohiwai, 8.5, 2; Lord Ainslie, 7.6, 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 2 l-ssec.
Summer Handicap; once round.— Pursefiller, 9.3, 1; Dispatch Carrier, 8.1, 2; Haumakaka, 7.8, 3. A good race. Scratched — Blackheart. Won by a length. Time, lmin 40 l-ssec.
