A FRENCH VETERAN

INSISTS ON GOING TO THE FRONT.

(TIMES A.SD SYDNEY SUN SERVICES.) (Received December 2, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Ist December. A French Army Order states that Corporal Burrugne, aged 76 years, who served in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, has been re-engaged for the duration of the war. He insisted on going to the front as a sapper, and has not felt the strain of the work.
